Sometimes getting up early is easy, but sometimes it can be challenging. Even when I don't want to get up early, I push through it anyway, and there's a reason why. If you have trouble getting up early or want to know what helps me get up, then this post is for you.
I used to sleep in all the time. I work from home, so I pretty much make my own schedule. This is awesome, but it makes it extra important to stay on top of my goals and tasks so that I can get everything I need done for the day.
I used to set my alarm early every morning, then I would hit snooze about 10-15 times. . . every day. I wasn't working out and didn't have a solid routine, so getting up super early wasn't as important to me as I wanted it to be. I recently started getting back into working out, and that is the main reason why I make myself get up early even when I don't want to. Working out helps me stay on track for the day, and I get the most work done and am most productive when I work out early in the morning. This means that I have to wake up in the morning in order to workout early and complete my first task for the day.
It's simple, but that's about it. I get up early because I have something that I want to do around the time I get up. If you're having trouble getting up early, I recommend scheduling something to do at the time you wake up. This can be exercising, running errands, writing, stretching, drawing, reading, etc.. Choose something that's important to you and that you want to be constistant with, and let that motivate you to get up earlier.
